With a whopping $2,400 prize pool courtesy of Tri-ActiV8 on the line, the excitement is sky-high.
Criterium racing promises a heart-pounding spectacle for both competitors and spectators, as riders race around a fully closed 1.42km circuit. This flat track is all about strategy, speed, and positioning for those aiming to claim victory.

Course Length: Average 10mins + 1 Lap (1.42km/lap). Length may vary based on registration numbers.
Juniors will be graded on Race morning.

Juniors will receive sponsor prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Women will be graded on Race morning. Race numbers will determine the number of grades.
The $2,400 Prize Pool will be split evenly amongst the Women's A, B, C & D grades and the Men’s A, B, C & D grades as follows:
1st Place: $150
2nd Place: $75
3rd Place: $50
4th Place: $25

Insurance: Open to anyone who holds an AusCycling “Race All Discipline” license (no trial memberships). It is recommended that individuals consider their own insurance.
This event is not open to Temporary or Recreational Memberships.
Any unclaimed prize money will also be split between our Event Beneficiaries: CQ Rescue and Disabled Sport & Rec Mackay.
Races will be run according to AusCycling technical regulations.
You will be asked to nominate your grade while entering and the race commissaries will review the start list and contact any riders prior who they feel have entered in the incorrect grade.
